Using our tools

These terms explain the conditions for using ClearPixel Tools. By using the website, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please do not use the tools.

Our tools are free to use, without an account, paid packages or ClearPixel watermarks. Follow the instructions and supported format or size limits shown on each tool page.

You may use the tools for personal or commercial tasks, provided you have the rights needed for the files, content and intended use.

Your files & rights

You retain any ownership rights you hold in your original files. Using a tool does not transfer ownership of your content to ClearPixel Tools or give you rights to someone else’s content.

Only use files you own, have permission to process, or may lawfully use under an applicable exception. Respect copyright, privacy, trademarks and the rights of people shown in images or named in documents.

If you submit content for processing, you permit only the handling necessary to perform the action you request, as described on the tool page and in our Privacy Policy. Keep a separate copy of important originals.

Acceptable use

Use ClearPixel Tools lawfully and without harming others. Do not:

• Process or distribute unlawful content, infringe another person’s rights, or create deceptive or abusive material.
• Use document editing, signatures, passport photo tools or similar features for forgery, impersonation or fraud.
• Unlock or alter protected documents unless you own them or have authority to do so.
• Upload malicious files, attempt unauthorised access, bypass security controls or interfere with the website.
• Use automated requests in a way that disrupts the service or bypasses stated usage limits.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats or legal requirements.

Checking results

Review every result before downloading, sharing, printing or relying on it. Conversions and edits can change formatting, image quality, metadata, transparency or other file properties. Automated results may contain errors. Image enhancement and enlargement use pixel adjustments and resampling, not generative AI. Basic object repair uses inpainting.

Passport photo output is not a guarantee of acceptance by an issuing authority. Check the relevant authority’s current requirements yourself.

A signature created or placed using a tool does not by itself verify identity, certify a document or establish that all requirements for a legally valid signature have been met.

Word conversion is text-based and does not preserve full document layout, images or tables. Edit PDF adds visible overlays; it does not rewrite existing text or securely redact it. Object repair is basic inpainting. QR and barcode generation does not guarantee scan performance or assign registered product identifiers. Test outputs for their intended use.

Our tools provide general editing functions and do not replace professional legal, financial or other specialist advice.

External links lead to services operated by other organisations. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use those services. Linking to a service does not imply endorsement.

ClearPixel branding, website design and original site content belong to their respective owners. Third-party software, fonts and other assets remain subject to their own licences.

Service availability

We aim to provide useful, reliable tools, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free processing or compatibility with every device or file. Features may be updated or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

The website is not a backup or permanent file storage service. Save the results you need to your own device.

Responsibility & legal rights

You are responsible for choosing suitable files, reviewing outputs and using them lawfully. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not give additional guarantees about suitability for a particular purpose or results beyond those expressly stated.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees, remedies, liability or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any applicable rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If you have a concern, contact us so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from exercising your legal rights or contacting a relevant regulator or court.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the tools, our operations or applicable requirements. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date and apply prospectively. Where additional notice or agreement is legally required, we will provide it.
